Kindergarten Assessment (Screening)

For the 2008-2009 School Year
Kindergarten Assessment begins Thursday,
February 7, 2008 and continues on Thursdays throughout February and March. Assessment Groups of 8 children and their
parent(s)/guardian(s) will be scheduled for morning sessions (9:00 a.m.-11:00
a.m.) each Thursday. Come and tour our
wonderful school, meet our faculty and students, and meet a group of the
children and parents who will become your family’s school community.

St. Rose School offers a
fully accredited, all day (8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.), Kindergarten Program with
before and after school care available.
Our teachers and curriculum combine to create an outstanding
Kindergarten experience preparing your children for a successful academic
career and giving them confidence in a loving environment. Our Kindergarten students participate fully
in the life of our school, attending weekly Mass with their 8th
grade partners and attending art, computer, music, gym and library.

St. Rose School also offers a Pre-K (Kindergarten Readiness) program
for the younger child or children who would benefit from additional time and/or
additional developmentally appropriate education before entering
Kindergarten. This NAEYC accredited
Pre-K program, with a fully certified teacher, is offered five days per week
from 8:00-11:00 a.m. or 8:00-3:00 p.m.
