Welcome to the 2009-2010
School Year!

This is your invitation & opportunity to become involved in your child’s school.  Please complete the enclosed form along with your $10.00 family membership dues and return it to the school by Sept. 11 2009 or bring it to the Parent Orientation or the H&S first meeting.  The membership dues will enable you to vote on Home and School matters and to serve as an elected or appointed officer/chair.  The dues are used as “seed money” to begin fund raising efforts for such projects as the purchase educational materials, capital improvements as well as the treats given to the students on special days and at the All-School Picnic. A full listing of what your $10.00 dues coupled with your fund raising efforts can do is listed on the back of this letter.  These projects were sponsored by the St. Rose Home and School Organization this past year.

We also encourage you to volunteer in the St. Rose School activities as much as your schedule permits.  You will become familiar with staff, faculty, parents, children and alumni at St. Rose. It helps to build a sense of community and shared responsibility as we all work toward the common goal of making this the best possible educational experience for all of our children.  Please complete the form indicating the events that you would like to help with.  Your volunteer time is greatly appreciated!

The St. Rose Home and School meetings are held on either the second Monday or Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm. The days are staggered again this year so that more people can attend.  Please refer to the school’s monthly calendar for the scheduled day and place.  Hope to see you there:

2009-10 Schedule:
Sep. 8, Oct 5, Nov. 3, Dec. 9, Jan. 4, Feb. 1, Mar. 2, Mar. 30, May 3, and Jun. 1
(subject to change or additional meetings may be called).

If you have any questions about the organization or a volunteering experience, please contact one of the officers below. Thank You and we look forward to another exciting and productive year for St. Rose School.
