At St. Rose, home to the Cougars, we see athletics as an integral part of developing the whole student by inspiring children of all ages to strive for excellence both on and off the field.
Our Athletics program strives to:
- Embody a positive competitive environment
- Build individual pride and revere the collective reward of teamwork
- Promote fair play and respect for others
- Develop individual discipline.
We believe sports should be a fun learning experience that ultimately empowers each student to discover his/her full potential in all facets of our core educational values.
Currently, our program includes for 7th and 8th grade athletes: Cross Country, Basketball, Football as part of the North Catholic Wildcats group, Track and Field, Cheerleading and Volleyball. Our parish league sports include K-8 soccer, 5th and 6th grade boys and girls basketball.

The Cougar Booster Club is a dedicated group of parents who, along with the administration, strive to provide a quality athletic program for all interested students. The club meets monthly to plan fund-raisers and discuss the athletic program. The total athletic program of our school is a complex and diverse one indeed.
We endeavor to see to it that our children have the needed training and equipment to succeed in each sport. Membership of parents/guardians is strongly encouraged. Click here for sign-up information.
